Did you know?

Many uninsured children, pregnant women and sometimes the entire family may qualify for free or low cost health insurance coverage. In order to qualify an applicant must:

  • Be a Colorado resident
  • Be a citizen, national or have legal permanent residency
  • Meet income guidelines (listed below)
  • Children must be under age 19

5 $4,406 $1,025 $28
6 $5,045 $1,173 $32
*A pregnant woman counts as two people.
*Certain expenses such as childcare, medical costs, health insurance premiums, child support and alimony payments may be deducted from a family's gross income. This means that families may make more money and still qualify for CHP+.
